Zerene costs $349 to get started. Long term costs include component replacement (mouthguard, pressure tubes), and subscription ($30/6 months after the first 90 days).
Zerene is eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement, but it is not yet covered by insurance.
Yes! Most people do not notice Zerene when they are wearing it, similar to the way it feels to wear any other thin, professionally made mouth guard. Zerene weighs just 10 grams, which is about the weight of 2 nickels.
Many people see immediate results in reduction of their grinding/clenching when they start using Zerene’s biofeedback training. For others it may take longer. The time it takes to see a reduction in symptoms also varies – some notice it right away, while for others it can take some time.
Yes! Side sleepers are able to get comfortable in their usual sleep positions while wearing Zerene and their results are still great.
Most people will need to monitor and re-train themselves from time to time with Zerene, even if they got an amazing reduction in their grinding/clenching initially. Long-term users find occasional use to be quite manageable and unobtrusive to their lives.
